2023 is definitely the year we want to make a mark with our serious and unprecedented commitment to environmental responsibility. The proof? Our inclusion as an eco-design expert in the Ecoleader Fund directory!

Why is this good news? We explain it all to you!

Good news for us and for you: we are now part of the Ecoleader Fund’s experts, which allows us to help companies optimize their packaging. In other words, we’re increasing our eco-friendly credentials, and reducing your environmental footprint. How about that?

The Ecoleader Fund “aims to guide and support Quebec companies in the integration of a wide range of eco-responsible business practices and clean technologies”. How? Through a subsidy program for companies that want to engage in sustainable development projects. That’s good because our CARTIER laboratory optimizes our clients’ packaging and processes to make them more cost-effective and environmentally responsible. So, it is quite possible that our services could be financed for a project that you could submit. We told you this was good news for you!

The subsidies available and planned for this purpose until December 31st, 2023 are 8.3 million dollars. Yes, you read that right! To access them, you must deal with a SchoolFinder Fund expert. And since this is now our case, you will be delighted to learn that all our clients who purchase a laboratory mandate that concretely aims at adopting eco-responsible practices, could benefit from the Fonds Ecoleader program, subject to the analysis of your file.

Two types of projects are eligible:

• Those aimed for an eco-responsible business practice to improve the company’s performance and profitability, but which also respond to an eco-responsible issue. 

• Those targeting a clean technology, with the desire to measure and limit environmental damage by adding equipment, a product, or by saving resources for example.

The first criterion allows a company to get up to $40,000 in subsidies and up to 75% of the fees. And it’s a good thing because our laboratory meets it perfectly. The icing on the cake? It provides you with detailed results on the reduction of material used in your packaging and your impact on GHG. It’s not for nothing that we are now experts in the Ecoleader Fund!

The Ecoleader Fund analysis does not guarantee that all of our clients will be able to apply for these subsidies. But that’s no problem! It’s definitely worth the effort and remains a promising avenue for your eco-responsible approach.

It therefore asked CARTIER to optimize the packaging for its new product. 31% annual savings on its stretch wrap and a reduction of 43.9% per year on its plastic consumption: this is called responding beyond expectations 😉.		To improve its environmental footprint, Leviton asked our experts to help reduce the amount of film used per pallet as much as possible. Abracadabra! Per year, our laboratory allowed them to save 50% on stretch film and reduce their plastic use by 61%. Magic or common sense, the most important thing is the result!
